Boats are allowed on Silver Lake, but there is no boat launch. If you have access to the lake via a private boat launch, please respect these rules:
1 – INVASIVE SPECIES can KILL OUR LAKE – please CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY any boat that has been in another lake to prevent the spread of any invasives.
2 – Silver Lake has restricted boating rules – SEE RESTRICTED BODIES OF WATER for more information, found to the right on the State Police, Marine Patrol homepage.
3 – Be mindful of erosion with launching, docking, etc., particularly with high water – IF THE WATER IS HIGH, WAVES WILL ERODE THE SHORELINE, so please use your best judgement.
